Therefore it will need to derive power from your computer, for this, some of the ports are dedicated Type-C to be used only for powering, while others can be used for both power and video. Please note that both monitors must be powered independently. Basically, this means that if your computer has two fully functioning Type-C ports, you can just use two Type-C cables to power and transmit to both monitors. If you only have one fully functioning Type-C port, then you can use that for one of the monitors, and use and HDMI cable for video and a USB-C to A cable for power to use the other monitor. In the worst case that you do not have any Type-C ports, you can connect both monitors using two HDMI cables for video and two USB-C to USB-A cables for power. This last setup may require the use of an extra docking station to work.
